They are the natural choice for slower growing, color chickens.
These birds are bred to grow slower than a Cornish. The broilers are adaptable to different types of diet and have an advantage in feed efficiency. Carcass quality is another asset, with good conformation and high carcass uniformity to meeting retail specifications.
The Grazer has been bred for robust health and well-being, ideally suited to free range and organic systems, as well as less intensive indoor production. This enables this broiler to exhibit excellent livability.

FACT: The Cornish hen or Cornish chicken originated in Cornwall, England, but gained prominence only after it was established in the United States. Its body shape is quite different from that of other chickens. Both males and females have short legs and broad muscular breasts.
