EGG LAYERS
Berg’s White Leghorn
The Berg’s White Leghorn is a very good feed converter with a high rate of lay. Peak production happens by 28 weeks of age at a daily production of 94%. These figures can be reached, but depend on day length, feed quality, water quality, uniformity, floor space, temperature, along with bio security. This seems like a lot to ask for, but remember that in order for these birds to make money for you, you have to put in some money and time too.
