Egg Layers

Berg’s White Leghorn The Berg’s White Leghorn is a very good feed converter with a high rate of lay. Peak production happens by 28 weeks of age at a daily production of 94%.  These figures can be reached, but depend on day length, feed quality, water quality, uniformity, floor space, temperature, along with bio security.  This seems like a lot to ask for, but remember that in order for these birds to make money for you, you have to put in some money and time too.

From the time they are chicks until maturity, they may have white on the wing tips, but when they are fully matured they should not have any white feathers.
